Think For Yourself (2022)

In this project I worked to depict an image of herd mentality, an issue and pattern seen in politics and social movements that has been further perpetuated by the growing influence of rapidly evolving internet trend culture in recent years. The two characters in pink are meant to capture this sense of mono culture with blank expressions and commonly popular clothing. The middle image contrasts these two with larger eyes and a pair of headphones that infer an individual intake of content or information.

Printed on 17x11 Matte Photo Paper

I also edited my digital design to create two separate images, one of the line drawing and one of the solid silhouettes. I then got both burned into screen printing frames.

I have experimented with different colors and garments on which I print these designs.
